Hitachi Zosen Corporation is a Japan-based manufacturer. The Environment and Plant segment offers refuse incineration and recycle plants, water and sludge treatment plants, energy recovery systems, biomass using systems, various plants, denitration catalyst, electric power facilities, as well as sells power. The Equipment segment provides marine engines, forging machines and boilers. The Processing Machinery segment offers various processing equipment and nuclear power related equipment. The Infrastructure segment offers bridges, doors for water gates, chimneys, marine engineering equipment, shield machines and disaster-prevention systems. The Precious Equipment segment offers plastic, food, medical and precious equipment, and electronic control systems. The Others segment operates transportation, warehouse, harbor loading and unloading businesses. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 79 consolidated subsidiaries and 14 associated companies.
