Description of the company
Manz AG is a Germany-based company engaged in manufacturing technology products for use automation, metrology, laser processing, vacuum coating, wet chemistry, printing and coating, as well as roll-to-roll processes. Its activities are divided into three business segments. The Electronics segment offers manufacture solutions for liquid crystal display (LCD) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) flat screen displays and touch sensors, as well as for smartphones, tablets, notebooks, printed circuit boards and chip carriers. The Solar segment provides system manufacture solutions for crystalline solar cells and thin film solar modules. The Energy Storage segment provides manufacture solutions for lithium-ion batteries and capacitors. The Company operates production facilities in Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, China and Taiwan, and sales and service branches in the United States, South Korea and India. The Company operates KLEO Halbleitertechnik GmbH as a wholly owned subsidiary.
