Description of the company

Mtu Aero Engines Holding AG is a Germany-based holding company engaged in the design, development and manufacture of engine modules and components for the military and commercial aircrafts. The Company also builds complete engines and manufactures industrial gas turbines. The Company divided its business activities into two segments: Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), covering the Company's activities related to the design and manufacture of new engines and spare parts for commercial engine business and the military engine business, and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) segment, engaged in the provision of maintenance services, including the repair and overhaul of aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines, organized under MTU Maintenance. The Company's partners include Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, and Rolls-Royce. The Company operates through a number of subsidiaries located mainly in Germany, Canada, China, Poland, the Netherlands and the United States
